Temporary transcriptionist needed for busy Marketing firm

We are a fun, busy marketing firm located in Waltham in need of some temporary transcribing of recorded interviews and conversations. The work will initially be done in our office (to get you up to speed) but once we get comfortable with each other some work can be done at your home (we’ll provide software and transcription pedals to operate the software).

Please apply if you possess superior communication skills; excellent spelling, vocabulary and grammar skills; are able to meet deadlines and can type a minimum of 85 words per minute. You’ll need at least conversational familiarity with marketing and business terminology as well.

Professional transcriptionists please DO NOT apply.

Since hours are flexible, this is a perfect job for a mom who wants to work part-time, or a very reliable college student.

Please respond as follows:

Send your resume.
Include a brief summary of why you are interested in this position, and why you could do a fast, accurate job transcribing LONG voice recordings and interpreting business lingo into cleanly organized typed output (please, no verbose introductions like ‘My excellent professional skills will deliver high value to support the key initiatives in your organization’ – we don’t talk like that and neither do our clients).

Tell us: What do you think is wrong with marketing in America today

Tell us: What’s your secret sauce? What you do hands down better than anything else.

We look forward to receiving your resume.

Please reply with your resume and answers to the above questions in an e-mail. Thank You.
