Qualifications

_{*Willingness to work as an independent contractor}
*Strong computer skills and proficient with MS Word
_{*Good command of the English language and legal terminology}
*Familiarity with medical terminology a plus
_{*Attention to detail and ability to prioritize your work and meet deadlines}
*Experience transcribing from multi-channel analog and digital recordings
_{*Current AAERT certification a plus… A/V Tronics requires AAERT E-Transcriber}
*certification be attained within two years

Responsibilities

_{*Produce accurate verbatim transcripts, adhering to strict deadlines}
*Transcribe various court proceedings, hearings, interviews and more from analog and digital audio or video recordings
_{*Downloading digital audio or video files for transcription}
*Coordinate with A/V Tronics'… staff for job assignments and proofreading matters
_{*Transcribe 350 or more pages per week}
