|
Thursday, 27 March 2008 |
We are a legal transcription company (tapes and digital) located in Medford. We have need for an experienced court tape/cd transcriptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate would be a court reporter (current or retired); OR a transcriptionist who has worked for a court reporter and/or transcription company; OR a paralegal who has transcribed court tapes/CDs. You should have a computer, laser printer, and transcriber machine (preferably a legal 4-track machine.) It would be helpful if you are equipped to transcribe court CDs with a Start-Stop pedal, or have court software, e.g., JAVS, For The Record, or CourtSmart. You should be willing to pick up and deliver work to our friendly Medford office at least once a week as an independent contractor. It's helpful if you are a fast and accurate typist, have a clear knowledge of sentence structure and legal terms, are detail oriented, like to research on Google, and take pride in your work. Proofreading your work is essential. Hours are part-time, at-home, and flexible (work as many hours as you want.) Please email your resume to Fran, along with a detailed cover letter indicating what qualifications you possess as listed above, and the city you live in. Thank you. Click here to apply ... |
