Med Health Services provides cost effective diagnostic imaging services for the appropriate treatment of both in- and out-patients. The Medical Transcriptionist will type dictated radiology reports from at home and or in our main office in Monroeville. The Medical Transcriptionist is responsible for electronically filing reports per Med Health Services protocol and faxing completed reports to the appropriate referring physician and or nursing home. Maintains appropriate quality control records and participates in routine peer review to guarantee integrity of finalized transcribed reports.
Previous experience preferred in transcribing the following modalities: Echocardiography, Lower Extremity Doppler Studies, Carotid Duplex, Abdominal and Pelvic Ultrasound, Small Parts Ultrasound, Nuclear Cardiology, EKG. Current openings for evening and night shifts. Experienced candidates are offered flexibility to work from home. Full time and part time employees welcome.
