JOB TITLE: Medical Transcriptionist
LOCATION: Twin Cities Metro
TYPE: Full Time / 40 hours
DEADLINE: Open Until Filled
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are currently seeking a Medical Transcriptionist to be responsible for interpreting and transcribing dictations by physicians and other healthcare professionals in order to document patient care and facilitate delivery of healthcare services.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications:
* Graduate of Medical Secretary or Medical Transcription program.
* 3-5 years experience in hospital or orthopaedic transcription.
* Strong customer service focus and skills.
* Excellent communication/organizational skills.
* Knowledge of English grammar, medical terminology, anatomy, and medical reference usage.
* Typing speed of at least 60 wpm.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Hours/Location:
* Tuesday - Saturday 3:00 p.m – 11:30 p.m.
* Work at home after approx. 6 weeks of training in-house at our St.Paul location.
* Your home must be located within 60 miles of St.Paul.
