Location of Job: Work From Home - U.S.

Req. Experience: MUST have 4+ years of recent Acute Care experience (Op Notes, H&P, Consultations, Discharge Summaries, and Transfer Summaries)
Req. Hardware/Software: MTs are required to use their own computers with Windows XP and MS Word 2000 or higher.

Method of Sending/Receiving files: MUST have DSL or cable modem. eScription software is used to send and receive files. Satellite and Dialup WILL NOT work.

Alphamed Solutions has fulltime positions available for experienced Acute Care Medical Transcriptionists/editors. Candidates will work on a voice-recognition platform, doing transcription and editing including:
- Op Notes
- H&P
- Consultations
- Discharge Summaries
- Transfer Summaries

Position Requirements:
- MUST have a minimum of 4 years recent work experience in acute care.
- Must maintain 98% accuracy.
- Must work fulltime Production (Fulltime production is 1000 lines per scheduled workday. A line is
65 characters with spaces)
- eScription experience is highly preferred but will train.
- Testing required

Minimum Equipment Requirements Are:
- Pentium (4) 2.8 GHz or equivalent
- 512 MB of RAM or better
- 5 GB of free disk space or better
- Windows XP or newer
- MS Word 2000 or higher
- Stedman's spellchecker dictionary
- Serial port for serial foot pedal (9-pin)
- Serial foot pedal that connects to the 9-pin serial port.
