Looking for a Medical Transcriptionist who is interested in an independent contractor position.
You must live in the Atlanta or Athens area.
After initial orientation for a week or two, this becomes a work at home position.
Must commit to working 5 days a week (Mon-Thur +1).
EXPERIENCE is preferred. We are willing to talk to people who have MT education and little experience.
Must have MT education OR previous experience.
Strong grammar skills are mandatory. Finely tuned ears able to decipher garbled speech.
Strong file management skills in Microsoft Windows, including knowledge of compression utilities such as Winzip.
Very strong computer skills using Microsoft Word, e-mail, chat, and research using Google.
An ability to meet deadlines, deliver on promises, and absolutely work around ALL your personal and family commitments (since you set your own working hours as an independent contractor.)
Contractor position has no benefits except the ability to work from home.
