Broward General Medical Center is a 716-bed, state-of-the-art Level I Trauma Center and Ft. Lauderdales largest healthcare facility. Full-Time Eligible-Varied Days/Shifts-80 hours per pay period. Associates degree. Three or more years of acute car transcription experience in multiple specialty disciplines. Home based transcription experience preferred. Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT) preferred. Under the Supervision of the Transaction Manager, interprets and transcribes dictation by physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient assessment, diagnostic/therapeutic procedures, clinical course, diagnoses and prognosis in order to create a document of patient care and facilitate delivery of healthcare services.
